However, if I'm dealt an Ace where the dealer is showing a low card (assume 4).
Should I double on the Ace (following basic strategy for 11). Or should I hit (because I might get an Ace pair) ?
- 6-deck game

Thank you :)

SOOPOOHi. I'm familiar with Basic Strategy which says Double 11 if dealer shows 2-10.

Have you found a game that allows you to double down after being dealt one card and you already can see one dealer card? If so, Axel is on his way to your town....michael99000

Is this a special blackjack variation where if your first card is an Ace you can tell the dealer to stop dealing ?
What is your other card ?
I'll update this thread after my next visit. (Which will be 3-months from now)
I just returned from my first trip to the casino. I think player can surrender/double after the first card.

I have never heard of that rule variation, and frankly I doubt it exists.
If it does exist then you would:
Surrender a 4,5, or 6 vs. a dealer Ace.
Doubling:
The rules for doubling with an Ace would depend upon what happens when you get a blackjack with the 2nd card. Would the payout be 3:2 for the doubled bet?

Otherwise, you would certainly double a Ten vs 2-9. Since this is almost 19% of all the hands dealt to player, I believe that this rule would change the odds to be significantly in favor of the player.

Go back sooner.
With these bj rules the casino will be bankrupt in 3 months

Blackjack pays 3:2
I remember making a call as soon as the first card was dealt. Maybe it was the dealer asking if I wanna surrender.
Since it was my first time and I was nervous using basic strategy. I might have mixed up the details. Either ways, I'll update this thread after my next visit. Cheers! :)
And thanks all for the response !
Hey. It's not triple attack blackjack. Just regular blackjack.
